Meditation Immersion & Yoga Classes
Be guided in a restorative meditation to foster peace and connection to your intuition by an expert practitioner.
Practice yoga asana in our beautiful loft space. Each 1.5 hour class includes a short spiritual talk and kirtan, a vinyasa based flow, and savasana with massage. The class is suited to all levels, from those with no prior experience to those with an advanced practice. Modifications will be given.

Guided Farm Tours & Farm Talk
Learn about Gita Nagari’s rich history and all of the sustainable practices. You will see the temple, Bhakti Tirtha’s samadhi, garden, Ahimsa (cruelty free) creamery, barn, cows, bee hive where we harvest our own honey, and nature.
Attend an interactive talk on different topics each week related to sustainability and the long term impact a farm community can have on the world in the present ecology crisis. Talks will be given by learned community members who are expert in the field.

Musical Meditation
Musical meditation (kirtan) is congregational chanting of mantra. Mantra means to transcend the mind, and when done in community, has powerful potential to relieve stress and anxiety and connect us to our potential. We have two opportunities for kirtan during your stay, our community kirtan on Saturday evenings, and our Sunday morning open house kirtan.

Cow Cuddling & Forest Trails
Our farm consists of 350 acres of rolling green hay fields, pastures and diverse woods, bounded by the Tuscarora Creek on the east side. We are home to 20 joyful volunteers, herds of peaceful cows/oxen, 1 goat, a flock of about 40 peacocks, and an adorable cat named Gopi. During your time here, spend as much time with the cows and other animals as you can. Cow cuddling specifically has been proven as an effective emotional therapy.
Bathe in our beautiful indigenous forests, and walk or relax along the Tuscarora Creek. Explore the bountiful nature. Gita Nagari offers biking (bring your own). We encourage you to bring any other sports equipment you might want.

Delicious Vegan/Vegetarian Meals
Gita Nagari offers 3 meals/day with pure vegetarian ingredients and milk products only from the protected cows on the farm. Vegan options are available.

Check-in: 4pm, Check-out: 2PM
Adult: $10 Entrance Fee + $75/person per night
- Includes 1 night accommodation and 2 meals (dinner and breakfast). Should you want lunch, it will be an additional $15 per box.
12 years & under: $50/person per night
- Includes 1 night accommodation and 2 meals (dinner and breakfast). Should you want lunch, it will be an additional $15 per box.
COVID-19 Guidelines
We require that all visitors who are qualified for vaccination be fully vaccinated 15 days before they visit the farm. You will be asked to upload proof of vaccination for all such qualified visitors at the time of payment. For seeking an exception to this policy, please let us know when you fill out the first form. While on site, please continue to mask indoors except at meal times, and practice personal hygiene.
